The Scanner Orchestra is a large-scale kinetic sound and light sculpture consisting of recycled flatbed scanners. These scanners are mounted inside custom-made acoustic horns.

Its sonic outcome is created solely by the scanners' mechanical motions amplified by these horns. The neon lights and the audio frequency of each scanner are controlled by arduino microprocessors.

The design of the acoustic horns is derived from the shape of the legendary Western Electric 15A horn.
